AI/ML & Generative AI Engineer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models; develop and integrate Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Use models and APIs from platforms such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or Hugging Face; build Python applications with relevant AI/ML frameworks.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines and knowledge-based systems using embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and semantic search.
• Fine-tune or customize models; preprocess data, engineer features, train and evaluate models, and develop predictive and intelligent automation solutions.
• Integrate models with existing applications, APIs, and business systems; assess accuracy, reliability, latency, and scalability.
• Monitor deployed models and improve performance; work with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Collaborate with software developers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and business teams; research emerging AI technologies.
• Maintain documentation for models, pipelines, APIs, and implementations.

Required technical skills

• Python programming; machine learning and deep learning concepts.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar frameworks; practical knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Familiarity with AI/ML APIs and SDKs, data preprocessing, model evaluation and optimization, REST APIs, backend integration, and Git/GitHub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• One to three years of relevant experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, or related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to learn rapidly evolving AI technologies, and good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred skills

• LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar frameworks; FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or Milvus.
• AI agents, agentic workflows, multimodal AI, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, MLOps, SQL, NLP, computer vision, speech AI, or production AI application experience.

Pay

• ₹40,000–₹80,000 per month.
