AI Image Labelling Operator (Entry-Level / Intern Open) - ANPR & Vehicles

About This Role

What you'll do

• Label and annotate vehicle imagery from real-world GCC traffic footage: vehicle type, colour, brand, model, and license-plate text.
• Use LabelImg (our current tool) and any equivalent tool the AI engineers introduce.
• Apply the labelling guideline as the senior CV engineers define it; flag ambiguous cases for adjudication rather than guessing.
• Hit a daily throughput target without sacrificing accuracy - we will calibrate the target with you in the first two weeks.
• Keep the dataset clean: organised splits, clear file naming, edge cases documented.
• Sit with the AI engineers each week on which categories need more samples and which images the model is getting wrong.
• Treat all imagery as confidential - this is operational data, never copied off the office machines, never shared.

What you'll bring

• Strong attention to detail; you can sustain accuracy over hours of repetitive work without dropping quality.
• Comfortable on a computer - file management, basic Excel or Sheets, keyboard fluency. We will train the labelling tool itself.
• Fluent English; ability to read GCC license plates (numerals plus Arabic letters) - training provided if not already familiar.
• Willing to sign a strict confidentiality agreement covering sensitive operational imagery.
• Available to work onsite full-time, five days a week.

Nice to have

• Any prior experience labelling AI / ML datasets, even from a university course or personal project.
• Familiarity with image-annotation tools (LabelImg, CVAT, Label Studio, V7, Supervisely, or similar).
• Familiarity with vehicle makes and models common in the GCC.
• Arabic literacy.
• Some Python - useful for scripting batch operations later, but absolutely not required to start.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in computer science, engineering, design, or any field that demonstrates structured thinking.

Location & work authorization

Abu Dhabi - onsite at our headquarters. Open to candidates already in the UAE with valid work authorization, or to candidates willing to relocate; the company sponsors residency. This role is onsite due to the sensitivity of the systems being supported.

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
