Position overview
Join a small AI-native disrupt squad in Autodesk’s Platform Services & Emerging Technologies organization.
Redefine how the platform is experienced, accessed, and built upon through working proofs, AI, real systems, and rapid experimentation.
The role focuses on product direction and prototypes rather than backlog management or operating production systems.
Responsibilities
- Find platform seams, bottlenecks, and handoffs that create customer or business friction.
- Define what should exist and frame multi-system problems into actionable direction.
- Challenge existing capabilities and use evidence from experiments to evaluate alternatives.
- Build working proofs with designers and developers using AI tools, prompts, and data.
- Package results as before-and-after proof points and translate findings into platform direction.
Minimum qualifications
- 8+ years driving product direction in complex technical environments.
- Deep customer and business understanding and a strong experimentation track record.
- Acts independently in ambiguity and demonstrates strong product judgment across systems.
- Hands-on AI-assisted prototype or demo experience, including prompt design, agentic workflows, or tool integrations.
- Can shape end-to-end solutions across product, engineering, and experience; create working outcomes; synthesize user, business, and technical context; influence without formal authority; and learn quickly.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience shipping 0-to-1 products or features, ideally in workflow-heavy enterprise products or greenfield SaaS.
- Ability to structure product intent for agentic work and validate it through hypothesis-driven, metrics-based iteration.
- Experience comparing solution approaches based on outcomes.
- Familiarity with complex multi-system environments and platform-level change.
Salary transparency
- For Canada-based roles, the expected starting base salary is CAD 142,000–207,900; offers may exceed the range based on experience and location.
- Compensation may also include annual cash bonuses, sales commissions where applicable, stock grants, and benefits.
Onboarding
- The role may require in-person onboarding and/or in-person identity verification.
