Role overview

RPA and intelligent automation

• Deliver RPA initiatives through assessment, design, development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and production support.
• Build attended and unattended automations and translate process maps and SOPs into workflows, reusable components, exception logic, and schedules.
• Integrate bots with enterprise applications, ERP systems, APIs, databases, email, files, and OCR/document processing.
• Design reliable controls and monitor processing rates, exceptions, cycle times, and capacity benefits.

AI automation and operations

• Combine RPA with AI/ML, OCR, document intelligence, classification, extraction, LLMs, and decision services.
• Build Python services, APIs, integration components, lightweight applications, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Implement automated testing, version control, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, schedules, and operational runbooks.
• Resolve production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure security, access, audit, and data protection controls.

Process and collaboration

• Assess process feasibility, stability, exceptions, data, risks, and business benefits; redesign workflows where appropriate.
• Document current and future process flows, requirements, exceptions, dependencies, controls, and acceptance criteria; help prioritize the automation backlog.
• Partner with business, technology, data, security, and vendor teams; provide documentation and knowledge transfer and contribute to reusable standards and libraries.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant software development, automation, RPA engineering, or intelligent automation experience, with production deployments.
• Hands-on development with at least one major RPA platform, such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent.
• Strong Python skills and experience building APIs, integrations, scripts, utilities, or production services.
• Experience integrating with applications, databases, files, email, ERP systems, REST APIs, and authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of OCR/document intelligence, orchestration, queues, schedulers, credential management, exception handling, monitoring, and recovery.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI, including practical LLM or ML service integration.
• Experience with Git/version control, CI/CD, automated testing, logging, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong analytical and process-mapping skills; ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and own automation outcomes.

Advantageous experience

• Experience with UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, cloud platforms, or relevant automation certifications is an advantage.
• Finance process automation is highly desirable; retail, grocery, supply chain, or high-volume transactional experience is an advantage.
