Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using TypeScript, Angular, Go, and other technologies.
• Apply generative AI, agentic AI, and large language models to build intelligent business and customer capabilities.
• Collaborate across data engineering, data science, product, and business teams to integrate data-driven insights.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, services, and supporting solutions for AI and machine learning workflows.
• Prototype emerging technologies and evaluate technical approaches and business value.
• Use automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and scalable cloud development practices.
• Contribute to architecture, technical design, code reviews, documentation, and deployment planning.
• Share knowledge about emerging technologies and help transition validated solutions into production.

Desired experience and qualifications

• Strong experience with Python, Terraform, APIs, JSON, and modern software development practices.
• Experience developing and deploying AWS applications, including Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, SNS, and SageMaker.
• Experience with cloud architecture and development; production integration, deployment, and support experience is preferred.
• Experience applying DevSecOps practices to software development and deployment.
• Applied experience with generative AI, agent-based AI, or large language model integration and deployment; familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows.
• Experience building data-based solutions, working with datasets and pipelines, engineering robust data solutions, and designing scalable data architectures.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular for frontend development.
• React and Go experience are pluses; Azure experience is a plus but not required.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid position with time spent both at an assigned facility and working from home.
• Listed hybrid work locations are Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; and Tempe, Arizona.
• Work arrangements may change over time based on business needs.

Compensation

• Potential starting salary range is $78,081.25 to $159,100. Starting salary depends on skills, background, and experience; the high end is limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.
• Potential yearly incentive pay is up to 18% of base salary.
• Compensation is based on a standard 38-hour-and-45-minute work week.
