Employment and compensation
- Employment type is permanent.
- Systems Analyst - Tech Ops 18 salary typically ranges from $96,557 to $128,743 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.
Workplace and location
- Hybrid work model currently requires employees to work from the office three days per week, subject to change.
- The role can be based at EDC headquarters in Ottawa or community hubs in Toronto or Montreal.
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
AI platform administration and operations
- Administer and configure Microsoft Copilot for M365 across the EDC tenant, including licensing, provisioning, access, feature enablement, and service configuration.
- Maintain Microsoft Entra ID, M365 Admin Center, and Copilot settings, including role assignments, permissions, and policy enforcement.
- Manage AI-related security, compliance, data protection, and governance controls across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
- Deploy, configure, test, and support Copilot agents, connectors, plug-ins, and AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring compliance.

Requirements
- Hands-on understanding of the AI administrator scope within Microsoft, including the distinction between global administrator privileges and AI-specific administrative controls.
- Ability to administer Microsoft 365 Copilot and its underlying AI platform.
- Knowledge of appropriate access, policy, and security controls for expanding AI capabilities.
