Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a CAD & Simulation Consultant – Aerospace to work on a freelance basis.

This expert will leverage their hands-on experience in CAD modeling and simulation tools to drive innovation in aerospace design.

With deep expertise in aerospace engineering, CAD engineering, and simulation workflows, this consultant will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions for the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CAD models and perform simulation/analysis for aerospace components, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in design and development.
  • Validate designs using industry-standard tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB, ensuring that they meet strict aerospace performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate technical requirements into simulation models and workflows, driving effective design and development processes.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results and identify areas for improvement in the design and simulation process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CAD modeling and simulation tools, with a strong background in aerospace engineering and design.
  • Expertise in industry-standard tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB, with the ability to effectively utilize them in design and simulation workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret results and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
