Role Description
The Advanced Care Paramedic is a full-time, on-site role in the United Arab Emirates supporting NSRC emergency medical and aeromedical operations.
The role provides advanced life support and critical care in pre-hospital and transport settings, including medevac and search and rescue missions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize patients, administer medications and advanced interventions, and document clinical care.
- Communicate with medical control and multidisciplinary teams and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
- Contribute to safety and risk assessments and follow aviation and clinical protocols.
- Participate in training, simulations, and quality improvement initiatives to support patient care and operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in paramedicine, including patient assessment, advanced life support, and critical care decision-making.
- Proficiency in airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, trauma care, and emergency procedures.
- Experience in aeromedical or remote emergency response environments is advantageous, ideally including medevac or search and rescue operations.
- Relevant paramedic or advanced care paramedic certification and registration must meet UAE regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are required for collaboration with flight crews, medical teams, and operational staff.
- The ability to work effectively in high-pressure, time-critical situations while maintaining patient safety and professional judgment is required.
- Training in aviation safety, rescue operations, and specialized medical and safety equipment is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, clinical governance, and ADA safety and quality standards is expected.
