Role overview

Responsibilities

• Understand residents’ whole-person health and identify needs involving mind, body, and spirit.
• Plan purposeful programs for individuals and groups; oversee active life coordinators and manage the community calendar.
• Lead teams providing integrative therapies and partner with physical therapists, chefs, and wellbeing teams.
• Be available for evening or weekend events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading group classes involving body, mind, and spirit; creating innovative holistic programming for seniors; and working with integrative therapies.
• Current CPR certification and licensure or certification by the appropriate professional body for the applicable education or specialty.
• A bachelor’s degree in exercise science, recreational therapy, kinesiology, or a related area is preferred.
• Practice a holistic approach to helping seniors thrive.

Schedule

• Generally Monday–Friday business hours, with flexibility to attend evening or weekend events.
