Key responsibilities
- Receive, verify and process supplier invoices; match them with purchase orders and receiving documents and secure required approvals.
- Record invoices and payments accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments.
- Prepare payment schedules, process payments on time and maintain organized supporting records.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Cost Control and other departments; follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Assist with month-end closing, accruals and reconciliations, and provide documents for audits.
- Follow hotel financial policies and internal controls; monitor AP aging and overdue items.
Candidate qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Previous Accounts Payable or similar finance experience; hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and AP procedures, plus proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle confidential financial information professionally.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
