Accounts Executive

Location: Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable,
• General ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements in compliance with
• UAE VAT laws and international accounting standards
• Monitor cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting in coordination with the finance manager.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT returns and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Reconcile inventory accounting with warehouse and sales data.
• Maintain and track fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and stock adjustments.
• Support financial audits and implement internal controls.
• Process employee reimbursements, payroll data, and vendor payments.
• Provide insights to optimize cost control and increase financial efficiency.
• Skill sets/Experience we require:
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manage large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, ecommerce, or
• recommerce industry.
• knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Pay: AED4,300.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
