Accounting

• Manage daily accounting department operations and prepare and review ledger accounting data.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Provide accurate data and recommendations to the controlling team and CFO.
• Align accounting processes with IFRS and local financial legislation; complete major-project, month-end, and year-end reports accurately and on time.
• Coordinate annual audits, improve processes, initiate corrective actions, standardize local brand processes, and report P&L and balance-sheet results to headquarters.

Tax and compliance

• Manage preparation and timely filing of tax returns, income tax, and withholding tax forms; develop a filing calendar and maintain controls over the tax process.
• Monitor tax-law developments and help implement new income tax requirements.
• Support internal audits and special tax-related projects.
• Help the controlling team meet compliance requirements and maintain a robust control environment aligned with Group standards and policies.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Seven to ten years of progressive accounting experience, including four to five years in an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local financial regulations, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end closing, coordinating audits, and improving processes.
• Ability to manage, coach, and develop an accounting team.
• CMA, SOCPA, or another relevant professional certification is advantageous.
