Accounting Clerk

Assist in day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and cash transactions.

Assist with closing procedure, including processing journal entries and accruals.

Assist with preparation of monthly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

Assist with gathering documentation for various internal and external audits.

Support compliance with company policies.

Learn and support additional accounting processes as they develop.

Additional duties as assigned.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3+ year of experience in accounting or finance required.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Experience in the industrial services or government sectors is a plus.

The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats and hearing protection is required.

Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving in an automobile.

May require walking and standing on irregular, uneven surfaces in an industrial setting and possibly at increased heights, climbing and descending ladders and ship stairways or entering confined spaces.
