Accounting and Tax Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• **Tax Advisory & Planning:** Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations and international standards.
• **Compliance Oversight:** Oversee the preparation and filing of VAT returns, ESR notifications, corporate tax returns, and other regulatory filings.
• **Client Management:** Serve as the primary point of contact for key tax clients, offering expert guidance on complex tax matters and developing customized tax strategies.
• **Audit Support:** Assist clients during tax audits and liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) when necessary.
• **Regulatory Monitoring:** Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise both clients and internal teams on the impact of regulatory developments.
• **Team Leadership:** Supervise and mentor a team of tax consultants and junior staff, ensuring quality control and effective workflow management.
• **Business Development:** Support the business development team in pitching tax services to new clients and expanding the firm's tax advisory portfolio.

Qualifications

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or ADIT is highly preferred.
• **Experience:** Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax advisory and compliance, with at least 1-2 years in the UAE (preferably both Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets).
• **Skills:**
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
