Problems to solve

• Reduce repetitive manual comparison and exception review while maintaining dependable reconciliation preparation and preserving accounting judgment.
• Make tested workflows understandable, repeatable on later cycles, and maintainable by accountants after handover.

Workflow delivery

• With accountants, define the purpose, sources, matching rules, handoffs, and review decisions for selected reconciliations in testable specifications.
• Use AI to build and refine reusable data preparation, comparison, and exception outputs, handling differing source structures and ambiguous matches.
• Compare outputs with source records and accountant-reviewed examples, investigate exceptions, and correct errors before recommending use.
• Produce traceable outputs that separate matched items from those needing accountant judgment and reference the underlying source records.
• Draft and validate operating instructions and test notes with users, monitor later runs, and own fixes through resolution.
• Compare quality and total human effort across comparable runs, including preparation, review, correction, and maintenance; report elapsed turnaround separately.

First-year focus and ownership

• Turn selected reconciliations into tested, documented workflows accountants can use on subsequent cycles.
• Choose working methods for approved, low-risk analysis and testing, propose matching and exception approaches, and bring implementations and evidence to review.
• Own workflow handover and maintenance in collaboration with the Accounting Manager and accountants.

What you will need

• Hands-on delivery of reusable AI-assisted or automated business workflows, including personal responsibility for testing and improving outputs.
• Ability to prepare and compare differently structured spreadsheet or exported data, define matching logic, and present exceptions for review.
• Practical understanding of ecommerce reconciliations, source records, controls, and traceability.
• Sound judgment validating generated outputs, investigating discrepancies, and explaining workflow limitations.
• Ability to document workflows clearly and work with users until they can repeat them.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Good to have

• Experience improving recurring ecommerce processes involving multiple data sources.
• Experience maintaining workflows after handover and measuring quality and total human effort over repeat runs.
• Familiarity connecting business data sources through approved workflow tools or simple scripts.

Compensation

• The posting states total annual cash compensation up to AED 224,400, tax-free, with base salary up to AED 17,000 per month and a monthly performance bonus up to 10% of base.
