Accountant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment records.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Support the finance team during monthly and annual closing activities.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and accounting statements.
• Monitor and record expenses, payments, and collections.
• Assist with VAT-related transactions and documentation in the UAE.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding routine financial matters.
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Accountant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships or training are welcome to apply.
• UAE accounting experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month.
