Role overview

Responsibilities

• Record transactions, perform daily bookkeeping, and make accounting adjustments.
• Calculate production costs and analyze raw material, labor, and industrial expenses.
• Monitor raw material, work-in-process, and finished-goods inventory.
• Participate in periodic audits and analyze variances.
• Maintain supplier and customer accounts and reconcile balances.
• Prepare financial, cost, and profitability reports.
• Complete monthly and annual closings and prepare financial statements.
• Investigate production cost discrepancies and recommend actions to management.

Candidate requirements

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ERP familiarity is preferred.
• Attention to detail, organization, analytical and reporting ability, and deadline management.
• Previous relevant accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
