Accountant – Revenue
ARABIC LANGUAGE FLUENCY IS MANDATORY FOR THIS ROLE.
MEEZA is seeking an experienced Accountant – Revenue to join our Finance Operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing revenue recognition, revenue assurance, accounts receivable activities, billing operations, collections, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage revenue recognition and ensure compliance with IFRS 15.
- Perform revenue assurance activities to ensure revenue accuracy and completeness.
- Handle the full Accounts Receivable cycle including invoicing, billing, cash application, and collections.
- Monitor customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and revenue-related reporting.
- Monitor AR aging and implement collection strategies to improve cash flow.
- Analyze revenue trends and provide management with insights and recommendations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for accrued and deferred revenue accounts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and revenue reporting.
- Support internal and external audit requirements and maintain compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- Arabic language fluency is mandatory.
- 8–10 years of experience in Finance Operations, with a strong focus on Revenue Accounting and Accounts Receivable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
