Role Overview
Fresh Bazaar Group of Companies is hiring an Accountant for daily accounting activities, financial records, reconciliations, and reporting across retail and F&B businesses.
The employer seeks a detail-oriented candidate with accounting knowledge and experience in UAE accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank, cash, supplier, and customer accounts.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, and payment records.
- Reconcile sales and settlements from online delivery platforms and payment gateways.
- Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
- Maintain documentation of financial transactions.
- Assist with UAE VAT calculations, filing, and compliance.
- Support expense monitoring, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with management and auditors when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage accounting activities across multiple business units.
- Experience in retail, F&B, FMCG, or trading companies is preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,500–4,000 per month.
