Accountant Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, maintaining records, and supporting overall financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Prepare invoices, quotations, and purchase orders
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain financial records and data entry in accounting software
- Prepare monthly reports, VAT reports, and expense statements
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Monitor payments and follow up with clients for outstanding balances
- Assist in payroll processing and salary preparation
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
- Coordinate with management regarding financial matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in UAE preferred
- Knowledge of Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Understanding of UAE VAT regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
