About This Role
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain complete books of accounts.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, journal entries, payroll, and inter-company transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, debtor/creditor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts with variance commentary.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare year-end financial statements (SOFP, SOPL & OCI, SOCE, SOCF) with full notes, IFRS-compliant.
- Convert trial balances into audit-ready working papers.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits, including responding to audit queries and providing supporting schedules.
UAE Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file VAT returns (quarterly/monthly) on the FTA EmaraTax portal, including reconciliation with books and review of input/output VAT.
- Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance — registration, computation of taxable income, application of small business relief and qualifying free zone person rules where applicable, and return filing under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022.
- Maintain FTA-compliant records and documentation.
- Support the team during FTA audits and tax assessments.
Client Service
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients.
- Respond promptly to client queries on accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax matters.
- Ensure deadlines are met for all filings and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
- Professional qualification preferred: CA / CA Inter, ACCA / ACCA part-qualified, CMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE; experience within an audit/accounting firm is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT Law and UAE Corporate Tax Law (FDL 47 of 2022).
- Hands-on experience with at least two of: Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, IF/SUMIFS, basic financial modelling).

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
