Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Record daily financial transactions in **Tally Prime**.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and purchase entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash records.
• Maintain and organize financial files, records, and supporting documents.
• Follow up on customer payments and supplier invoices.
• Assist in payroll preparation and employee expense processing.
• Support VAT-related documentation and filing requirements.
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as directed by the Accountant.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
• Knowledge of **Tally Prime** is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
