Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for the institute.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping.
- Supervise the junior accountant in processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other financial laws.
- Cash Flow & Fee Management
- Monitor tuition fee collections, payment plans, and outstanding balances.
- Implement financial controls to manage receivables and payables efficiently.
- Ensure timely payroll processing and vendor payments.
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, CT and tax laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors for financial audits and reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits.
- Financial Strategy & Decision Support
- Provide financial insights to the management team for decision-making.
- Develop financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in pricing strategies for courses and training programs.
- Team Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and mentor the junior accountant, ensuring efficiency in daily tasks.
