Role Overview
ANWA Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, transactions, and reporting within a fast-paced real estate environment. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the real estate industry, with a solid understanding of property-related transactions, commissions, and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handling commission calculations, payouts, and tracking for sales agents
- Monitoring cash flow, expenses, and company budgets
- Coordinating with sales and operations teams to verify property transactions and payments
- Maintaining accurate records of invoices, contracts, and financial documentation
- Assisting in VAT filings and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations
- Liaising with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders when required
- Supporting payroll processing in coordination with HR (WPS, allowances, deductions, etc.)
- Identifying discrepancies and resolving financial issues promptly
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience within the real estate industry (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, commission structures, and property-related financial processes
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a real estate brokerage or property development company in the UAE
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Bitrix24) and financial tools (e.g., WPS, Wallstreet)
