Overview
IMEP Engineering and Contracting LLC is seeking a highly experienced and competent **Accountant** to join our team in the UAE.
We are looking for a professional who has strong experience in the UAE or any GCC country and is capable of handling accounting responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with UAE/GCC accounting standards, tax laws and company policies
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain proper financial records and documentation
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and management
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accountant in UAE or GCC (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently and make sound financial decisions in the best interest of the company
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
- Detail-oriented and highly responsible
- We are looking for someone who:
- Thinks proactively and contributes to improving financial efficiency
- Requires minimal supervision and can take ownership of tasks
- Works well with teams and management
- Ensures accuracy, compliance and timely reporting
- Pay: AED6,000.00 per month
