Role overview
Manage financial records, ensure compliance with local regulations including UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, and support management with accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate day-to-day general ledger accounting, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with Corporate Tax regulations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal financial controls.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Two to four years of proven accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Tally.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting principles, including IFRS.
- Advanced Excel skills, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- CPA, ACCA, or CA certification is a strong plus.
