Project Services Co. Qatar W.L.L. seeks an experienced accountant to oversee financial transactions, ensure accurate reporting, and support the organization's financial integrity.
The role requires analytical skills, accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with a team.
Key responsibilities
- Classify, record, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Enter and update financial data in the accounting system accurately and promptly.
- Prepare periodic financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper settlement of financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting, Accounting, or a related field.
- Five to ten years of proven accounting experience in a construction company.
- Arabic proficiency is mandatory; strong hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting is required.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, and ability to accurately analyze and interpret financial data.
- Practical experience with accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools are an advantage.
Work location
- Work is in person in Doha, Qatar.
