Seeking a Site Engineer with proven steel structure experience for construction and infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar.
The role executes and supervises site works while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead steel structural site activities for quality and timely execution.
- Review IFC drawings, method statements, and ITPs and ensure work follows approved documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors; obtain periodic progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with Ashghal and QCS standards for steel structures and construction activities.
- Verify material deliveries and monitor manpower and equipment utilization.
- Support resolution of site issues and implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5–10 years of experience in steel structural and construction projects involving buildings and industrial plants.
- Ashghal project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QCS 2014 and local authority procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Self-motivation and strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to join immediately.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role with in-person work in Doha, Qatar.
