An **Accountant's** role is to support the organization by ensuring that all financial records and reporting are up to standard, updated, and maintained regularly.

Accountability Area
- Ensuring that the accounts information will remain confidential & no leakage of information will be made in the company.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Comply with safe work practices, intending to avoid injury to themselves and others.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and the health and safety of others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance procedures.
