Role and responsibilities
- Manage P&L, balance sheet, working capital, and cash flow.
- Control stock and inventory.
- Oversee finance operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, compliance, and tax preparation.
- Close the books and prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.
- Develop revenue and expense tracking methods and advise on financing options.
- Maintain financial accounting, expense control, general accounts, tax matters, and account finalization.
- Manage funds, budgets, tax, financial control, and reporting.
- Support statutory and internal audits; establish MIS and tax reporting guidelines.
- Handle online banking transactions with different banks.
Experience and qualifications
- The posting states 5–8 years of accounting experience and separately lists 5 years of accounting experience as preferred.
- Prior work experience in a Dubai accounts department is required.
- Tally Prime knowledge is a must; excellent MS Office skills are requested.
- Fluent spoken and written English, strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking are requested.
- Listed qualifications include B.Com, M.Com, postgraduate Finance, Inter CA, CMA, Inter CMA, MBA, or similar.
