Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to oversee daily financial operations within our Electromechanical (MEP) company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, project billing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions and accounting entries.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing.
  • Prepare invoices, payment certificates, statements of account, and financial reports.
  • Monitor project-related costs, billing, and customer collections.
  • Process employee payroll and prepare SIF files for salary transfers.
  • Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
  • Assist in cash flow management, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material purchases and cost tracking.
  • Support inventory control and documentation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the MEP, construction, engineering, or contracting sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, VAT filing, and project accounting.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
