Role overview

Accounting and close

• Manage accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, collections, vendor invoices, and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and accurately allocate receipts and payments.
• Analyze product and standard costs, production costs, and overheads to identify cost-control and margin opportunities.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, and accurate general-ledger records.
• Prepare journal vouchers for adjustments, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Prepare MIS reports on financial performance, trends, and forecasts.

Operational finance and audit

• Analyze general-ledger balances and overhead expenses, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage employee expenses and petty cash records and reconciliations; ensure payment deliverables are processed on time.
• Use POS and retail sales accounting to track sales and reconcile revenue.
• Support inventory audits and reconcile stock discrepancies with the inventory team.
• Assist with statutory audits and provide documentation and analysis.

Qualifications and experience

• Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Requires 5+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience is preferred, with chocolate manufacturing or FMCG exposure noted.
• Requires strong ERP experience, particularly Business Central, and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Requires experience with accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, and cost analysis.
• Requires familiarity with POS systems and retail sales accounting; prior statutory audit experience is preferred.
