The Accountant manages financial records and supports budgeting, expense monitoring, reporting, and project operations.
The role requires compliance with company policies, Qatar financial regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, general ledgers, and accounts payable and receivable records.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities accurately and on time.
- Assist with project budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis for management review.
- Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Support payroll processing, invoicing, and expense reimbursement documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support compliance with accounting standards.
- Use QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar accounting software for financial data management.
- Provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling financial information.
Requirements
- Strong background in financial management and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software tools.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong numerical accuracy and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
