BELHASA JOINERY seeks an Accountant with construction and joinery industry experience, particularly in job costing and project costing.
The role manages financial operations, tracks costs accurately, and supports project profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations; handle job costing and project costing for ongoing projects.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Allocate costs to projects; reconcile accounts, the general ledger, and bank statements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers on cost control and financial planning; comply with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll; assist with audits and prepare documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management; monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue receivables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven construction or joinery industry experience is mandatory; strong knowledge of job costing and project costing.
- Driving license is mandatory; strong accounts receivable and collection follow-up experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
