PROOFOPS is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain financial records and prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations; monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Maintain financial documentation and filing.
- Assist with VAT calculations, filings, and other UAE tax-related requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide financial information.
- Support budgeting and cash-flow monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy; good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred skills
- Preferred skills include UAE VAT knowledge, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
- MS Excel, accounting software or ERP, and audit coordination are listed as preferred skills.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,500 per month; salary is based on experience and qualifications.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role in Dubai, UAE; work location is in person.
