Accountant

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile course-registration revenue, including online and in-person payments.
• Track training expenses such as instructor fees, materials, and facility costs.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and budget-versus-actual analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and transaction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, UAE regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with VAT and tax-related documentation and audit requirements.
• Provide financial information to management and other departments to support business decisions.
• Monitor records for training materials, supplies, and other relevant inventory as needed.
• Identify financial discrepancies and help resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other assigned accounting and finance duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Must have 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with advanced functions.
• Experience with accounting software; Zoho is provided as an example.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Education, training, or non-profit sector experience is a plus.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is listed as AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
