The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts.
- Process invoices.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and audits.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting preferred.
- Knowledge of VAT and other tax returns or filing preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar accounting software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, accounting software proficiency, Microsoft Excel proficiency, and organizational abilities are essential.
