Role overview

Al Taie Center is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its Dubai team.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage transactions, including data entry, invoicing, receipts, payments, and expense recording.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documents.
  • Calculate UAE VAT, prepare returns, and maintain related documentation.
  • Assist with UAE Corporate Tax calculations, reporting, compliance, and documentation.
  • Reconcile medical and insurance invoices, payments, claims, and outstanding balances.
  • Check stock and reconcile inventory for medical supplies and other items.
  • Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Verify transaction accuracy and supporting documents.
  • Assist with monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Maintain organized records and follow internal financial procedures.
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies and support financial operations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience is required.
  • Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is required.
  • Hands-on experience with stock checking, inventory reconciliation, data entry, and bank reconciliation is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is required.
  • Medical or healthcare accounting and medical or insurance reconciliation experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality are required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently and within a team is required.

Pay

  • Pay is AED 3,500–4,000 per month.

Workplace

  • The role is in person in Dubai.
