About This Role

Overview

  • As an Account Manager, you own and grow customer relationships by delivering consistent service excellence and aligning customer needs with Expeditors global network.
  • You serve as the primary contact for your accounts, driving retention, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring strong operational and commercial alignment.
  • Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for customer outcomes, revenue targets, and service excellence.
  • Build and lead a team of Global Account Managers with deep customer knowledge and strategic planning skills.
  • Ensure teams are aligned with customer goals, proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand services.
  • Lead efforts to generate new revenue, diversify existing streams, and retain business through thoughtful engagement.
  • Personally manage one strategic global account to stay connected to customer needs and model leadership behaviors.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align account strategies with company goals.
  • Champion the Expeditors experience by delivering our value proposition and reinforcing service, integrity, and operational excellence.
  • Support regional and global initiatives that drive strategic growth.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, one-on-ones, and annual performance reviews, fostering a culture of mentorship and continuous development.
