As we aim to expand, we seek a highly skilled ACCA-qualified Accountant with expertise in UAE tax regulations and local market experience to join our team.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant who is ACCA-qualified and understands UAE’s Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations and policies.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in the local market and a proven track record in managing comprehensive accounting functions and tax-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Tax Compliance: Handle all tax-related tasks, including VAT returns, tax audits, and compliance with UAE FTA regulations. Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and documentation.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions. Provide insights into financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Local Market Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the UAE market to provide strategic advice on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with UAE tax laws and regulations changes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process by providing necessary documentation and addressing queries.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

ACCA Qualification: Must be ACCA qualified with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
UAE Tax Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of UAE FTA regulations and tax compliance requirements.
Local Market Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE market.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are a plus.
Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
