Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in technology leadership and software development is required as specified.
  • Certification in Ab Initio, cloud computing, Agile delivery, project management, software architecture, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant training in Ab Initio, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, data management, Agile methodologies, project management, security, or vendor management is preferred.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development through technical learning, leadership development, knowledge sharing, relevant certification, and awareness of evolving technology practices.

  • Apply analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving to evaluate complex technology challenges, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.

  • 8–10 years of experience in technology leadership, software development, data development, technology delivery, or a related field.
  • Experience with Ab Initio development, implementation, support, enhancement, or data-processing solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise across multiple areas of software development and technology.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technology projects.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project-management tools.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
  • Experience evaluating technologies and making recommendations for adoption.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and participating in contract, service, or delivery discussions.
  • Candidates may also qualify through equivalent combinations of Ab Initio development, data engineering, technical leadership, solution design, technology delivery, architecture, or platform implementation experience that demonstrate the required capabilities and outcomes.
  • Day-to-Day Activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, clarify priorities, and translate needs into Ab Initio and broader technology solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional technology teams, provide technical guidance, review progress, resolve dependencies, and support team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate technologies, maintain technology roadmaps, prepare technical specifications, manage project deliverables and vendors, and provide progress and risk updates.
  • Make technical and delivery decisions within the agreed scope, balancing business value, security, sustainability, cost, quality, and operational impact; escalate material risks when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in technology, data platforms, software development, financial services, or enterprise technology environments is preferred.
  • Certification in Ab Initio, cloud computing, Agile delivery, project management, software architecture, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant training in Ab Initio, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, data management, Agile methodologies, project management, security, or vendor management is preferred.
