Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop Area Managers and Store Managers to deliver effective in-store training.
• Provide train-the-trainer support and guidance across the retail network.
• Develop tools, resources, and frameworks that support training delivery excellence.
• Maintain training governance and quality assurance aligned with operational standards.
• Support new store openings, operational initiatives, and performance improvement activities.
• Identify capability gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Partner with Operations, Compliance and Standards, Communications and Execution, and broader business functions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance training effectiveness and operational excellence.

Qualifications and experience

• Demonstrated experience in training, learning and development, capability building, or operational enablement.
• Ability to coach and influence leaders across multi-site retail or operational environments.
• Experience developing and implementing train-the-trainer frameworks and capability programs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyse capability gaps and implement practical solutions with measurable outcomes.

Desirable background

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Learning and Development, Adult Education, or a related qualification is desirable.
• Experience in retail, convenience, quick-service restaurants, or multi-site operations is highly regarded.
