Join an offshore support vessel operating in Qatar as a 3rd Engineer.
Support the safe operation and maintenance of critical engine-room systems.
Responsibilities
- Execute engine-room rounds, inspections, and planned maintenance activities.
- Notify senior engineers of defects and support troubleshooting of machinery systems.
- Maintain reliable operation of engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform maintenance tasks according to company and manufacturer procedures.
- Maintain strong housekeeping and safety standards.
- Monitor fuel, lubrication, and cooling systems for vessel reliability.
- Support DP maintenance activities and safe vessel operations.
Mandatory requirements
- A-III/2 Certificate of Competency.
- DP Maintenance Certificate for the engine room.
- BOSIET certification.
- H2S certification.
- ERM certification.
Preferred experience
- At least 12 months of effective sailing time on CSV, DSV, or MPSV vessels is preferred.
- At least 2 months of effective sailing time on DP2 KPOS vessels is preferred.
- NOC-approved status is preferred.
Work environment
- The role is based on an offshore support vessel operating in Qatar.
- The position supports offshore DP vessel maintenance and safe offshore activities.
