Role Description
The Event 2D/3D Designer will work full time on-site in Riyadh, collaborating closely with event managers, production teams, and clients to translate concepts into compelling visual experiences.
Daily responsibilities include creating 2D layouts and 3D designs for event stages, exhibition booths, branding elements, and immersive environments.
The role involves developing mood boards, visual concepts, and detailed renderings, as well as preparing production-ready files for fabrication and installation.
The designer will refine concepts based on feedback, ensure designs align with brand guidelines and event objectives, and coordinate with technical teams on lighting, materials, and spatial planning.
The position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and contributing creative ideas to enhance overall event impact.
Qualifications
- Strong 3D Design and 3D Modeling skills, with the ability to create realistic event environments, stages, booths, and installations.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design for 2D layouts, branding assets, signage, and event collateral.
- Experience with Lighting concepts and visualization to support event ambience, stage design, and audience experience.
- Ability to produce basic Animation or motion elements to showcase event concepts, walkthroughs, or visual presentations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and 3D software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating event, exhibition, or interior-related 2D/3D design work.
- Excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and understanding of materials, fabrication, and installation constraints.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in events, exhibitions, or stage design in the GCC region is an advantage, and Arabic and/or English language skills are beneficial.
