Our program uniquely combines technical expertise with professional development through two enriching learning journeys. You'll dive into hands-on experiences alongside our industry-leading teams, equipping you with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in your engineering career.
From day one, you'll benefit from a personalised on-the-job training plan tailored to the Architecture department. This approach will not only allow you to apply your technical knowledge in real-world settings but also provide ongoing support from experienced professionals.
You’ll actively contribute to a variety of projects, gaining invaluable experience every step of the way. We are also committed to enhancing your essential soft skills, ensuring you develop a well-rounded skill set that complements your technical abilities with effective communication, collaboration, and leadership.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
Creating designs and highly detailed drawings and design solutions using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications.
Quality generation and delivery of design documents and drawings to support the architectural team.
Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary design team, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, efficient, and constructible design solutions.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for passionate and driven individuals who see Architecture not just as a profession, but as a calling. If you’re committed to delivering exceptional work, eager to embrace new challenges, and motivated by opportunities to grow and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do - so if you bring a proactive mindset and a positive, can-do attitude, you’ll thrive here.
2:1 in a relevant Engineering degree, such as Architecture that provides you with either a recognised RIBA Part I or Part II qualification.
⭐ What We Will Offer You
Mentorship and support towards chartership - We offer tailored mentorship and structured support to guide you through becoming professionally chartered, including access to experienced professionals for advice and coaching. You’ll build a strong portfolio, prepare for assessments, and develop key competencies while gaining hands-on experience across diverse, technically complex projects in multiple sectors.
Exposure to high-profile and technically challenging projects - Immerse yourself in a variety of innovative, technically challenging, and high-impact projects that will sharpen and advance your skills. Our work spans multiple sectors, providing exposure to landmark designs and pioneering industry approaches.
A friendly, supportive, and ambitious team culture – You’ll join a team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. We foster a friendly, inclusive environment where your ideas are heard, and your growth is a shared goal. You’ll be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do and driven to make a difference.
📩 Shape your future with us - where your creativity, drive, and aspirations make a difference.
Apply now and engineer a better tomorrow!
Our commitment is to develop, train, and retain our graduates for the long term. Therefore, BakerHicks are unable to consider applications from candidates who are working under the Graduate visa route or other time-limited visas, regardless of their duration, due to their temporary status and the future sponsorship requirements under the Skilled Worker route, set out by the UKVI.
This decision follows recent changes to the Skilled Worker visa regulations introduced by the UK Government in July 2025.
However, we welcome applications from candidates who are eligible under alternative UK immigration routes that do not require Skilled Worker sponsorship now or at any point in the future.
Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance or security assurance levels.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance or assurance level for this role, in line with client and sector requirements.
In some cases, additional nationality or residency criteria may also apply due to specific client or national security obligations.
Further information on National security clearance levels can be found on the UK Government website: ( National security vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK )
