Years of experience: 10+ Must have (strong production expertise): • Production Python: typing, modular design, SOLID, object-oriented design and design patterns. • Production REST APIs with FastAPI/Uvicorn or comparable: contracts and validation. • Secure development: mTLS, OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, maker-checker / segregation of duties, secrets management. • TDD with pytest, mocking, unit/component/integration coverage. • MongoDB/NoSQL/relational integration via PyMongo/Motor, incl. transactional/outbox writes. • Responsible use of AI coding/testing assistants. Independently owns complex services and integrations, contributes to technical design, diagnoses production issues and supports other engineers.
