• 5+ years of hands-on Murex functional testing experience. • Strong functional understanding of both Front Office and Back Office processes within Capital Markets/Investment Banking applications. • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets trading products and asset classes, particularly: o FX o Fixed Income / Bonds o Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) o Money Markets o Loans o Deposits o Cash products • Strong Back Office domain knowledge, particularly settlement and payment workflows. • Ability to clearly explain and validate the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including: o Trade booking/capture o Trade events and lifecycle processing o Confirmations o Settlement o Payments o Accounting o Reconciliation o Reporting • Good understanding of settlement processes, payment flows, cash flows, and nostro reconciliations. • Hands-on understanding of SWIFT and MX messages relevant to confirmations, settlements, and payments. • Experience performing Middle Office validations, including OSP checks, lifecycle events, controls, and related functional validations. • Prior QA experience with strong understanding of test case design, scripting, execution, and defect management. • Ability to build detailed and structured test scenarios based on business and functional requirements. • Experience defining test strategies and test approaches for small to medium-sized enhancements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to validate business and functional requirements effectively. • Ability to work independently on testing assignments with minimal supervision and support. • Strong understanding of standard QA/testing practices, with exposure to Murex-specific testing best practices. • Comfortable working with business/client stakeholders and prioritising testing activities based on business criticality. • Ability to articulate functional analysis, test results, defects, and recommendations clearly and in a structured manner. • Capability to mentor junior analysts and review their work outputs.
