Youth Employment Advisor

Experience working directly with young people , ideally in youth work, mentoring, education, community support, employability, participation or a similar setting.

A strong youth engagement style , with the ability to build trust, motivate young people, manage challenging conversations and adapt your approach to different needs and experiences.

A practical and resilient mindset , with confidence supporting young people who may be unsure, disengaged or facing multiple barriers to work.

Understanding of pathways into work , including local employers, training routes, community support and the practical steps young people need to take to move closer to employment.

Good organisation and digital confidence , with the ability to manage caseloads, record progress accurately and follow up consistently.

A values-led and safeguarding-aware approach , with commitment to inclusion, professional boundaries, GDPR and continuous learning.

Willingness to travel to meet young people, employers and partners.
