Yard Associate work involves maintaining safety, service, and merchandising standards.
The work is physical and includes standing, walking, and lifting.
In-house forklift training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, provide information, complete sales, and arrange deliveries.
- Maintain inventory, replenishment, and merchandising standards.
- Learn products and attend department training when provided.
- Follow safety standards.
- Prepare invoices, quotes, credit invoices, and delivery invoices.
- Update inventory in the computerized system when receiving products or writing off theft- or damage-related losses.
Requirements
- Ability to operate machinery and learn the D365 computer system used to process orders.
- Communication, teamwork, customer service or sales experience, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Availability for rotating day, evening, and weekend shifts.
