WSO2 API Manager Administrator / API Platform Engineer
We are hiring for our client in Saudi Arabia and looking for an experienced WSO2 API Manager Administrator / API Platform Engineer to join a dynamic technology team.
If you have strong hands-on experience managing enterprise API platforms, implementing API security, and supporting mission-critical environments, this opportunity could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain WSO2 API Manager environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD
- Manage API lifecycle activities including publishing, versioning, and retirement
- Configure and support API Gateway, Publisher, Developer Portal, Key Manager, and Traffic Manager
- Implement API security standards including OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, throttling, and rate limiting
- Integrate with IAM, LDAP, and SSO solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance and stability
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and CI/CD processes
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager
- Strong understanding of API management and API security concepts
- Solid Linux/system administration experience
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and JVM-based platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Preferred Certifications
- WSO2 Certified API Manager Practitioner – V4
- WSO2 Certified API Manager Developer – V4
- WSO2 Certified API Manager Expert – V4
